Single Room furnished with an innerspring bed, desk and chair (or can remove to use your own), built in wardrobe, shared bathroom (bath and shower), kitchen, lounge and outdoor area (all furnished to share with you). You can have your own fridge and portable TV if you want Use of Washer, Dryer, Wireless Internet, main TV, and all social rooms. Storage available, Carpark on concreted driveway inside gated fence, but not under cover.
We are a couple of 'late 40's' working from home and welcome you to treat it as your own, come and go as you please, room to entertain, and we'll treat you like one of the family or leave you to your own devices. One other room is rented by an easy going male gardener practising permaculture and a coffee connoisseur! He can tell you where the best coffee and meals are at the best pricing within a 30 km radius !!!!
Room is fully furnished or you could bring your own furniture, if you prefer... some storage availablew. Rent of $160/Wk includes Electricity, Water, Wireless Internet Access, room furniture, own fridge in the kitchen, own TV in your room, and use of all house appliances, microwave, crockery, cutlery, wash machine, dryer etc
Sit on our patio with a cuppa or a beer and read or watch and listen to Kookaburras, Whipbirds, Crested Pigeons, Doves, Grass Parrots, Honeyeaters, Magpies, Moorhens, Whistler ducks, Butcherbirds, Rosellas, Coels (storm Birds) and many others even our 8 chooks of all colours and personalties!!!
We are 2.5 km to town (2 mins by car, 8 mins by bike, and 25 odd minutes walk) for the train and bus, IGA supermarket, bottle shop, newsagency, Post Office, hairdresser, service station, bakery, video store and hardware store all set in a little village atmosphere, very friendly and helpful.
Only 20 mins by car to Caloundra beaches and 25 mins to Mooloolaba and Maroochydore, 50 mins to Noosa and 90 mins to Brisbane CBD.
Only 12 mins to Australia Zoo, 15 mins to Maleny, 20 to Montville and we can even take you to the "top of the world" as shown in the last photo in 15mins.
Trains goes North and South quite regularly and buses interconnect to all of the Sunshine Coast.
We love being far enough away to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough to access all that anyone could want in a living situation on the Sunshine Coast.
We may not be 5 star but make up for it with down to earth, clean, homely surroundings, warm inviting atmosphere and friendly housemates and locals.
